Are you ready to unlock your child's musical potential and provide them with a lifelong passion for music?

As someone who understands the transformative power of music firsthand, I'm thrilled to introduce you to YGS Kids/Teens – an exciting and educational course designed to ignite your child's love for playing guitar.

Music was more than just a hobby for me during my schooling years – it was a lifeline. Whether facing bullies or navigating through heartbreaks, music was always there, offering solace and strength. It helped me discover my true self and build an inner resilience that has shaped who I am today.

Now, I'm on a mission to share the joy and benefits of music with others. That's why I created YGS Kids/Teens, a comprehensive program that goes beyond teaching guitar skills. With interactive lessons, engaging activities, and personalized support, YGS Kids/Teens empowers children to explore their creativity, boost their confidence, and develop lifelong skills.

Here's what sets YGS Kids/Teens apart:

Why Choose YGS Kids/Teens?

  • Instructor Credibility: The most extensive guitar student base of any single guitar instructor in the world (over 750,000 enrolled), over 10,000 1-on-1 lessons taught over the last 40 years, over 150 million video views, and specialization in children's education.

  • Course Design: YGS Kids/Teens is tailored for children's learning pace with step-by-step guidance, encouragement, and motivation ensuring no child is left behind.

  • Included Materials: Step-by-step video guidance with PDF attachments, quizzes, and Q&A access to me throughout the course.

Benefits of Music Education for Kids/Teens:

  • Pulls attention away from negative stimuli

    • Playing an instrument or singing provides a positive and absorbing activity that can divert children's attention away from negative stimuli or stressful situations. Focusing on music allows children to shift their attention towards constructive and enjoyable experiences.

  • Releases dopamine, the "feel-good" chemical
    • Music has the power to trigger the release of dopamine in the brain, which is associated with pleasure and reward. When children participate in music activities, such as playing instruments or singing, they experience feelings of enjoyment and satisfaction, leading to the release of dopamine and reinforcing their interest in music.

  • Stimulates brainwaves
    • Playing an instrument requires coordination between different brain regions, leading to synchronized brainwave activity. Additionally, listening to music can entrain brainwaves, influencing mood, attention, and cognitive function. Overall, music education engages the brain in complex ways, promoting neural connectivity and cognitive development.

  • Improves your state of mind
    • Learning music provides a creative outlet for self-expression and emotional release, leading to an improved overall mood and mental well-being. And promoting feelings of happiness, relaxation, and fulfillment.

  • Reduces the perception of pain
    • Music has been shown to have analgesic effects, meaning it can reduce the perception of pain. Participating in music education activities, such as playing instruments or singing, can distract children from physical discomfort or pain they may be experiencing. Additionally, listening to music can trigger the release of endorphins, the body's natural pain relievers, further reducing the perception of pain.

I am thoroughly impressed with how you are able break things down in an easy and understandable way, demonstrating patterns, and providing a context to everything you teach. This is truly the only way to learn and understand playing the guitar.

Bill M.

My fianceé is from Costa Rica and it's been 3 months since she last visited.
We just got back to the States after my short visit.
Last night she heard me play my guitar and she couldn't believe it was me playing.
She was amazed at how much I improved.
That is proof positive, Erich's, program works!
Thank you Erich Andreas.

Steve E.

Erich, I have just finished watching day two. I have to say, your teaching style is phenomenal.

Lisa R.

—I started at the very beginning of your lessons b/c I don't want to miss one important tip or technique. You have quite a gift for teaching. Thank you!

Carl M.

Finally. Someone to not only show me how to play the guitar, but someone to explain some basic music theory in an understandable way.

Erich Andreas with guitar student singing

Duane J.

-finally found someone who explains fully and simple. Awesome lessons. Thanks.

Christine J.

THANK YOU. This has given me an epiphany. So easy now to ‘see’ the chords. Something that had completely eluded me until this course. You are a brilliant teacher!

Shirley H.

Love your classes. I've been moving forward faster from you than any other instructors that I've tried. I even told my son who is a marine about you and gave him an acoustic guitar because he wants to learn to play.

Blake P.

Thanks to you I finally found that teacher that talks more in a simplistic way towards guitarists trying to learn. I can finally take my step to becoming a great guitar player.

Ludwig

I want to congratulate you for being such a good teacher :D Thanks to you, I feel more confident, day after day, to call myself a guitar player. Looking forward to learning more!

Michellee

-but I just love how you teach! Each lesson's soo interesting and nice and slow.

Chris

I love the way you are showing us how to make the complex simple. It’s great to take what you’ve shown us and say to yourself ‘Wow, this isn’t as complicated as I thought’. Great stuff!

Edward

When the young folks ask me how I learned to play your name will be right there to show you my appreciation.

Melwym D.

His method of simplifying and breaking down parts so methodically has made even a rookie guitarist much better than when I started.

Gregg M.

I have learned more on this site in the first three days than I could have imagined. I've never been more excited to learn. Thank you!

Erich Andreas with his guitar student

There are literally thousands of online instructors, systems, all promising sure fire results. Erich is legitimately one of the few that I rely on. Always informative. Always spot on. Much respect for this dude.

Wilde

-the amount of lessons and the way you've broken things down in a step-by-step manner is so convenient it's not even funny. I appreciate your guidance.

orcmid

-you are my role model for what an excellent teacher provides. That you accomplish it on-line with not much interaction with students is even more remarkable.

Michael C.

Erich, Great pace... The encouragement videos are well taken & much needed. I'm 60 and finally making the move. You've earned my enrollment at the completion of the 30 days, I'm on day 15.

Rich P.

I've been a guitar student for many years and you have, by far, changed my life and understanding of the guitar more than any other teacher I've ever had.

Philip S.

Thank you for your lessons Erich I am so impressed with your knowledge of guitar playing.

Jim S.

Harmony has never been explained to me in such an interesting way. Thanks for the insight, Erich!

Pete D.

Hi Erich. Another late starter here (60+) and, after many attempts with lessons, mostly one-on-one, and years of frustration, seeing little to no progress, I've finally found out that I'm not "broken" and that I actually do have the ability to play the guitar. :) The content, pace, and variety of your lessons is perfect for me, and I look forward to each new session.

Erich Andreas with guitar student

David B.

Thanks for the great course Erich. The daily exercise was exactly what I needed. Not only did this course allow me to improve my skills, it established a habit of learning.

Dan H.

Erich, the best thing that's happened since getting my guitar is finding you and these lessons.
Love the instruction, support, pace, tips and tricks. so valuable without information overload, and it's working!

Roy K.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate the quality of these instructional videos. It's obvious that a lot of effort, time and consideration has gone into these courses. Although it's early in the training program, I look forward every day to the next lesson. I can't tell you how motivated I am to get back to where I used to be able to play. I couldn't agree with you more on the fundamental building blocks of this program.

Hi Erich, I just started and I love this course . Your teaching is great and better than others. Last year I bought this guitar and I started this year after some modules I realised I have a small guitar I am like 14 yr old and I wanna know if it's fine to use a small guitar
Erich Firstly, thanks a bunch…thoroughly enjoying getting better as I go on...can't believe that 3 weeks ago I hadn't even touched a guitar. I've watched up to video 30 and have decided to practice and consolidate what l've learned so far. Exercises in fretting and strumming are going well...can cut straight into the level 5 strums now. I'm trying to get more fluid in my chord transitions but I guess that's just practice, practice, practice. Mostly the chords are clean but I struggle with B7 getting A string to sound clean... have tried the curl and it's better but I still seem to get buzz from the second finger touching the string....any advice
This is not a question but more of a shout out to say this is a great course so far. I love how you throw in music theory (I'm a music theory geek). I come from a background of playing violin and viola and the Fretboard is the same with the sharps and flats although only four strings on via and violin. Again, thanks for this great course and looking forward to taking more of them from you. I've tried another one on here and it was such a crash course it left me unimpressed but your course is worth it.
Thanks for making this course it is really very helpful to us. The best course available. Complete knowledge of a true guitar course in true sense! La you're the best guitar teacher I have ever seen.
So much fun and challenging. ended up going off piste on my own though, I was enjoying it that much! Will watch many more times and make myself stay on course! Thanks
I greet you all! I also greet Mr. Erich. I bought this course almost two years ago, but didn't really get into it until January of this year. Believe me folks that in this course you have enough information to be able to become a master guitar player, instead all that is required from the students is determination and perseverance. I can say that it was worth buying the course, it is true that there were many frustrations at the beginning but I can see the progress, I can enjoy this
I took my time with this one; fifteen months to be exact but its been an unforgettable journey. When I look back upon the last year or so I am amazed at how much information I now have in my head and how my playing has evolved. Techniques that seemed beyond my grasp come naturally now. There are some modules I need to go through again but I have gone from not being able to do the pick rest exercise to intermediate guitarist. Perhaps I'm blowing my own trumpet here! I am not normally one to make grandiose statements but you have changed my life. Thank you, Guitar Sage, I shall forever be proud to call you my teacher
This was an amazing course which I completed today. Five out of five.
I'm in the middle of my journey and I'm so much in love with his way of teaching. Glad to have such a humble instructor. The lectures are very interactive and fun.
Loved this series! You explain things in a great way and also encourage us to become better players! Thank you so much!
Love the class, Erich! I've been following your YouTube channel for a while and was super excited to find this class on Udemy. I've gifted the class to four of my children and recommended it to a friend. You're a very good teacher.
Erich. This is just a thank you for your systematic and helpful way of going through the guitar basics. I have been a lifetime struggler with the guitar, having taken lessons from 5-13 and never past 1st position or basic barre chords during that time. I've played Rosksmith, which has helped with some dexterity and comfort, but am amazed at the progress I've made by taking a little bit of theory and matching it with deliberate practice. I have literally been trying to learn the solo from Boston's More than a Feeling on and off for about 5 years and just applied the looping technique you taught to the problem. Within 20 minutes, I was wailing on it at full speed and without referring to the tabs. This was amazing! Feel free to use this testimonial anywhere you would like. I just wish my childhood teacher instilled some of these habits and taught some of these simple lessons (for example, I never knew to pull the strings and was always annoyed at having to retune after a few minutes) from the get go.
Hi Erich I really appreciate this lesson - this is another one I wish someone had told me years ago! I'm learning my first song now - kiss me by sixpence none the richer - just taking it slow, couple of chords at the time, learning how to use the capo and also learning how the chord shapes stay the same (but the chords are actually different). Thanks for the course - I see how it's all about a mindset (or a way of being?)!
I have been floundering with guitar for the best part of 10 years and only now have really understood why I could never learn. I was trying to learn to play songs I liked but never followed a systematic way of learning. I could play a handful of songs well but if asked to play something else I would hand over the guitar to someone else. Thanks for introducing this course and mapping it out in such a logical, easy to follow way. In only a couple weeks I have surpassed what I have learned over the last 10 years.
Hi Erich ! Just a message to say that your course is awesome, and learning with you is a pleasure! Thanks for all and your advices !! Keep rockin'
my name is nabeel and I am student of sufism and learn musical instruments. I think that you are the best teachers ever for my musical passion. thanks and love n respect from heart
I wish someone had told me this about talent a couple of decades ago! Loving this course and my guitar - I've found it a great help during the pandemic and have built practice into my daily routine.
Erich your a kind spirit. Very good teacher. Thankyou for this amazing course and I love how you explain things. It has made it so much better for me to comprehend everything to do with guitar!
This coarse chorse corse course was/is fantastic. I feel like i'm ready to start learning things in my own direction with emphasis on my own preferences. I feel like i'm ready to learn songs and build a full library of songs that i know, and to record them as well. Thank you for this awesome course, i know you put a lot of work into creating it and that is very much acknowledged and appreciated as well. all the best, stay safe, be kind to all beings, don't trust the man, and keep playing guitar But i don't have to worry about withdrawal or otherwise missing your voice, your face, because next i'll be starting with your
